In view of the fact that none of the local TV Channels in Sri Lanka had purchased the Rights to telecast the on going Sri Lanka Tour of England, Sri Lanka Cricket was interested in arranging at least a live radio commentary for the benefit of the cricket loving public of Sri Lanka.

Towards this Sri Lanka Cricket in association with SLBC have been able to facilitate a local commentary team to travel to UK.

We have now been informed that there are certain issues pertaining to the transaction that are being queried and we sincerely hope that this will be resolved early.
