Radiant signs up Muttiah and Mahela

Radiant Sports and Entertainment today signed up top Sri Lankan Cricketers Muttiah Muralitharan and Mahela Jayawardane for all cricket endorsements.

"Off spinner Muralitharan and Mahela are great prospects. Both are capable of creating excitement and could be good sponsors delight, "announced Mr. Khetarpal in Colombo today.

With both players looking good for a packed Sri Lanka Cricket schedule till the World Cup, Mr. Khetarpal feels "World Cup is going to be the big one. Sri Lanka is very responsive to its cricket sponsorship and we feel building players equity with sponsors is at a very exciting stage today".

Both cricketers would be endorsing, modelling and promoting products through its management company Radiant in the Sub-continent.

Muralitharan feels "I feel quite excited about the contract. This is an important season due to the World Cup. I feel both Mahela and I could do justice to sponsors at this juncture". Mahela also commented "seeing what Radiant has done with Ajay Jadeja I feel great to be associated and professionally marketed by them".
