Sussex Chief Executive to leave

A full Sussex County Cricket Club Committee meeting was held on Monday 7 October and among the items discussed was a formal review of Mr Nigel Russell's first three months as Chief Executive of Sussex CCC. As a result of this review the Committee decided that Mr Russell's tenure as Chief Executive be brought to a close.

David Green, Chairman, commented: "The decision was a difficult one to take but was made in the best long-term interests of Sussex CCC. The Committee acknowledges and thanks Mr Russell for his enthusiasm and keenness for the job during his period in office and wishes him the best for the future."
