Western Warriors RE/MAX CUP teams

WESTERN Australian cricket selectors today announced teams to contest the RE/MAX Cup series against England next week.

Batsman Michael Hussey will lead the Warriors in the first match, a two-day game, following his appointment as deputy vice-captain on Wednesday night.

The REMAX team for the two-day match is:

Mike Hussey (Captain), Chris Rogers, Scott Meuleman, Murray Goodwin, Marcus North, Shaun Marsh, Luke Ronchi, Kade Harvey, Beau Casson, Michael Clark, Paul Wilson and Callum Thorp

The selectors named a squad of 15 players from which a team will be chosen for the RE/MAX Cup three-day game starting on October 28.

The squad will be finalized depending on the availability of international players Adam Gilchrist, Justin Langer, Damien Martyn and Brad Williams, following their return from the current Test series against Pakistan, in Sharjah.
