BAN Women vs IRE Women, 3rd T20I at Dublin, Jul 01 2018 - Match Result
IRE Women won by 6 wickets (with 0 balls remaining)
Well what a game of cricket we have had here today, Ireland looked to be falling behind in the chase. Yet a 3rd wicket partnership between Gaby Lewis and Laura Delany changed the game.
Even though they were both run out in the final couple of overs, a breezy 22 off 14 from Isobel Joyce won the game for Ireland
Bangladesh just couldn't take enough wickets to cause the Irish to panic, yet Ireland kept their nerve to hold on for the win.
The presentations are just going on in front of us and Jahanara Alam has just been presented with the trophy for player of the series, well deserved.
What a three games we have had, two last ball wins, a huge six to win the other. I'm sure that both teams will be hoping to take this form into the WT20q.
Both teams will be flying across to the Netherland's this week to take part in the qualifiers. If they give half the excitement that we have had over the past 4 days, then people will be in for a treat.
So that just leaves me to thank you for following my commentary over the past few days, this is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from Sydney Parade!
