Ireland 245/10(49.1 overs)

It's 1-0 up for the hosts and they grab 10 crucial points. Chasing 270, Ireland lost Porterfield for naught. Skipper Balbirnie and Tector stitched a crucial partnership but was dismissed in back to back overs. At last 270 looked way too much for this Irish team. Joseph and Shepard bagged three a piece and their fielding standards faced south through out the innings..

The debutant Shamarh Brooks has been adjudged player of the match for his scintillating innings with the bat. That's it from us for now.. See ya!

HMody: "As I said earlier, Smith's smacking turn out to be the difference. I suppose I should go buy Power Ball now. Yikes! Someone already won it. Ohh well…Many more cricket games going in this week. Keeps me happy as a Hippo. Good luck Ireland next time!!! "
