Busy week ahead for Province

Western Province cricketers have a busy week in the run -up to their opening Standard Bank Cup match against Northern Titans at Centurion on Friday 6 October 2000.

Starting today WP take on Gauteng in a pre-season 3 day friendly at Inanda. They return home on Thursday and on Friday play archrivals Boland in a MTN Challenge match in Hermanus. This match is the traditional pipe opener and will be played according to Standard Bank Cup rules. On Sunday 1 October WP will participate in the inaugural Supersport Challenge involving EP, KZN-Natal and Northern Titans. Province play Northerns Titans in the second 25 over per side semi-final.
