MDC disqualifies Pakistan Association Green from Sunday Cup for breaching player transfer rules

The MDC have considered the reported circumstances of an unregistered player representing Pakistan Association Green in their Qualifying Round fixture against SCC Vagabonds.

Assuming there to be no doubt that Mohammed Liaqat, as named in the Millennium squad, is the same player who represented Pakistan Association Green against the SCC Vagabonds, the MDC confirms a breach of rules under the section "Transfer of Players" according to the Sunday League and Cup Rules, and that Pakistan Association Green be penalised by disqualification from the tournament.

As such, SCC Vagabonds should be included in their place in the draw for the Quarter Finals.
