Blacks Caps eighth
New Zealand's Black Cap cricketers are 20-1 outsiders in the early TAB
betting for next year's World Cup in England during May and June. New
Zealand is ranked eighth on the TAB odds with only Zimbabwe and
non-test playing countries Kenya, Bangladesh, and Scotland at longer

England $5, West Indies and defending champion Sri Lanka $6, Pakistan
$7, and India $8.
St Albans teams away
St Albans, which has teams in both semi-finals of The Press club
knock-out cricket competition this Sunday, will face two away matches.
The men's team will meet Mid-Canterbury at Ashburton while defending
champion Riccarton will play Marist at Warren Park, its third
successive home game, in the other semi-final. In the women's
semi-finals, St Albans will also face a trip to the country meeting
Canterbury Country at an as-yet-undetermined country venue while
East-Shirley will host South Canterbury at Burwood.
