The match was the fourth in a series of games being played in preparation for the upcoming ACC Trophy tournament to be held in Malaysia from 12-31 August 2006.
Other notable performances included a solid half century from Tabarak Dar whilst bowlers Khalid Khan, Irfan Ahmed and Amjad Mehmood each claimed a brace of wickets, although Khan and Ahmed were plagued with wide and no-ball troubles.
