UPE and TUKS lead their respective sections after day 3
Section One:
Spec Savers UPE seems to be one of the contenders to reach the final after securing its third successive win in the 16th MTN National Club Championship in Pretoria. UPE leads Section One after beating Technikon Free State by 71 runs today at Technikon Pretoria Oval. UPE chose to bat first and made 230 for 8 in 45 overs. In reply, Technikon Free State could only manage 159 in 35 overs.

Stellenbosch University just managed to beat Avion at Hofmeyr Park by two wickets. Stellenbosch opted to bowl and restricted Avion to 148 all out and in response reached the required winning target of 149 with ten overs to spare.

Last year's beaten finalist, Tuks won its third match to sit pretty on top of Section Two log. Tuks outfit was ruthless in disposing of Impala Mine from North West by 9 wickets. Impala batted first and were skittled for 151 all out. And Tuks made 152 in the 23rd over in a match that was played at Groenkloof Oval.
