Ajinkya Rahane and Peter Handscomb staged an outstanding match-winning partnership of 120 as Leicestershire beat Gloucestershire by four wickets on the Duckworth/Lewis/Stern Method at Bristol's Seat Unique Stadium to book a quarter-final berth in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
Chasing a revised target of 196 in a contest reduced by rain to 36 overs a side, the Foxes registered their fifth win in six games in Group B with 14 balls to spare, the fourth-wicket pair of Handscomb and Rahane scoring 65 not out and 62 respectively.

Derbyshire Falcons missed out on a Metro Bank One Day Cup quarter-final even though David Lloyd and Anuj Dal starred in a thrilling four-wicket win at Chester-le-Street, a game which also featured a maiden List A century for Durham's Scott Borthwick.
Derbyshire did all they could today, but they missed out on qualification for the knockout stages due to Hampshire having a superior net run rate after they beat Middlesex, while Durham, who needed to win today to progress, are also out of the competition.

Worcestershire's cricketers secured a home-quarter-final against Warwickshire - albeit at Edgbaston with New Road hosting England Lions versus Sri Lanka - in the Metro-Bank One-Day Cup despite losing to Lancashire by three runs in their last Group A game at Emirates Old Trafford.
Although they restricted their hosts to 237, Worcestershire struggled on a pitch where run-scoring rarely looked easy and were indebted to skipper Jake Libby, whose innings of 83 ensured their overall run rate did not suffer.

Toby Albert's fourth List-A half century and two crucial wickets for Mohammad Abbas booked Hampshire a place in the knockout stages of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup as they beat hosts Middlesex by 19 runs at Merchant Taylors' School.
Albert struck 75 in an innings of 53 balls, complete with four sixes, sharing stands of 59 with Liam Dawson (48) and 49 with Kyle Abbott (20 not out) as the visitors totalled 276 for 7, Luke Hollman taking 4 for 61 for the hosts.

Southern Brave secured their place in the Hundred Eliminator at the Kia Oval on Saturday thanks to rain intervening at Utilita Bowl against an already-eliminated Welsh Fire.

Essex eased to a five-wicket win over Sussex Sharks at Hove to claim their third win in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
The early damage was done by Jamie Porter who picked up four wickets with the new ball as Sussex collapsed to 50 for 6. Skipper John Simpson led a lower-order recovery with 69, but 226 for 9 never looked enough despite a slow pitch at the 1st Central County Ground being used for the third successive game.

India's Yuzvendra Chahal made a stunning debut in the Metro Bank Cup, helping the Northamptonshire Steelbacks to a nine-wicket victory over the Kent Spitfires at Canterbury.
Chahal, whose signing was only confirmed an hour before the start of play, took 5 for 14 during an unbroken 10-over spell, as the hosts were skittled for just 82 in 35.1 overs.
