drives hard down to long on, doesn't get enough to clear the rope
Renegades vs Sixers, at Sydney, Jan 09 2013 - Ball by Ball Commentary
The Renegades roll on and that ends the Sixers season. It was the Alex Hales show tonight. He got off the plane this morning and blasted 89 off 52 in brutal fashion, including 8 sixes, one of them a huge 111 metres.
The Sixers needed to make the runs in just 12 overs and were never a realistic chance given the Renegades huge total. The Renegades, minus Aaron Finch, Marlon Samuels and Murali, look very tough to beat and Man of the Match Alex Hales showed he's a
more than capable replacement.
Join us again tomorrow night for the do-or-die clash between the Scorchers and Strikers in Adelaide. Thanks for your company, good night.
