Mudassar to take charge next month

Former Test all-rounder Mudassar Nazar will start his assignment as PCB Cricket Academy coach late next month.

Mudassar was expected to reach here between Feb 26 and 28 while the academy will become operational from Feb 5. Mohsin Kamal and Ali Zia will assist Mudassar.

The PCB confirmed that former England captain Geoffrey Boycott will train the cricketers for 15-days in the academy from Feb 5.

Meanwhile, the PCB also announced that the remaining tournaments of the domestic season now will resume on Feb 20 with the Patron's Trophy Grade-IandGrade-II competitions.

It will be followed by the Patron's Trophy one-day tournament. The revised itinerary will be issued shortly.
