New Zealand Cricket is looking for a new domestic sponsor after State Insurance opted to end their decade-long backing.
The company supported all aspects of the domestic game including the inter-provincial four-day, one-day, Twenty20, the women's one-day competitions, and also team naming rights. A company spokesman said the deal had "reached the end of its natural life".
Board chief executive Justin Vaughan remained upbeat. "This is a rare opportunity for new commercial partners to invest in a sport that sees hundreds of thousands of Kiwis participating and watching every summer."
