17.2 to Asif Ali, holes out to long on! Low full toss on middle and off stump that Asif could have hit literally anywhere. On this occasion, though, Asif somehow manages to toe-end it and Guptill does the rest at long on! An anti-climactic end to a superb innings!. 169/5 | ||||||||||

1.5 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, in the air and taken! Full and slanted into the pads. Gurbaz looks to flick it over mid wicket but is slightly early into the stroke. The ball pings off the toe-end of the bat and Iftikhar does brilliantly to run back from mid wicket and complete a superb catch! Just what the Gladiators needed to get their evening up and running!. 13/1 3.1 to HE van der Dussen, knocks him over! Full and angled into middle and off stump. van der Dussen tries to be too funky and looks for the scoop. He gets into a poor position, though, and cuts himself off a touch. In the end, he gets an inside edge that then crashes into the stumps! Hasnain has two, and the Gladiators have an early sniff!. 28/2 | ||||||||||

9.5 to C Munro, what a response by the youngster! Length delivery on middle and off stump that curves into the batter ever so slightly. Munro has a waft at it and does not really account for the movement as the ball breezes past the inside edge and thuds into the top of middle and off stump!. 71/4 | ||||||||||

6.2 to Shadab Khan, chops it on! Back of a length delivery outside off stump. Shadab skips down the track and has a hack across the line. The ball, though, comes off a little slower than he expects, meaning that he ends up dragging it back onto his stumps! The umpires are having a look at Smith's front foot but it looks fine! Another massive moment in the game!. 43/3 19.6 to Azam Khan, and Smith cleans him up last ball! What an anti-climax! Beautifully executed slower yorker on middle and off stump that dips very late. Azam, looking to get to his hundred, has a swing at it but is too early into the stroke. The ball sneaks under his bat and crashes into the stumps! But take nothing away from an awesome display of stroke-making! One of the best you will ever see in the PSL!. 220/6 | ||||||||||

The ball whistles past Guptill's bat even before he has gotten it down and clips the top of middle stump! Farooqi is jubilant and the Gladiators have been stunned early!. 5/1 10.4 to Mohammad Hafeez, drilled straight to deep cover point! Full toss outside off stump and Hafeez could have hit that anywhere. He gets it right out of the middle too but unfortunately for him, hits it straight down deep cover point's throat! Hafeez is disappointed but Islamabad won't mind this wicket one bit!. 95/4 19.1 to Mohammad Hasnain, that will be that! Banged into the track on middle and off stump. Hasnain has a swipe at it but is at least a week late on the stroke. In the end, the ball pings off the splice and Farooqi completes an easy return catch!. 157/10 | ||||||||||

1.5 to JJ Roy, huge appeal, and given! Reviewed instantly by Roy, though! Full on off stump and this one tails into Roy very late. He plants his front foot and goes searching for it as the ball seems to miss the inside edge and thuds into the front pad. The umpire gives it out but Roy reckons there might be some bat involved! The third umpire, after looking at the replays, concludes that the ball has hit pad first. Ball Tracking comes up but freezes mid-way, adding to the drama. It finally comes up, and returns with Umpire's Call on the Wickets parameter! Roy has to go!. 7/2 3.1 to WCF Smeed, cleans him up! Slowed up a touch on a length on off stump. Smeed, much like it was in the first over, does not quite pick it and opts to swipe it away. He is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball, though, and the ball spins past the bat before thundering into the stumps!. 26/3 | ||||||||||

16.6 to OF Smith, that goes to the moon, but ends up in long on's palms! Full delivery outside off stump. Smith looks to smack it into oblivion but gets it right off the toe end. The ball comes down with snow on it and when it does, long on is well position to gobble it up!. 145/7 18.3 to Iftikhar Ahmed, holes out to long off! Full toss outside off stump that ought to have been punished. But tonight, even that gets hit straight down long off's throat. Iftikhar might have been a little late on the stroke, but can't do anything now as he trudges back to the pavilion! The Gladiators are eight down!. 157/8 18.4 to Naseem Shah, two in two for Hasan Ali! Back of a length delivery on middle and leg stump. Naseem has a wild slog at it and misses the ball by a mile. 15.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, huge appeal, and that looks plumb! Flat and full on middle and off stump. Sarfaraz looks to tonk it into next week but misses a straight ball. It raps him on the back leg in a crouched position and the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger. Sarfaraz does not even bother with the review, and that will be that for him this evening!. 127/5 15.5 to Mohammad Nawaz, taken expertly at long on! In the slot, and Nawaz's eyes light up. He clears his front leg and looks to smash it over long on. He gets power on his stroke but does not quite get the elevation. Faheem runs to his right at long on, tumbles forward and completes a brilliant catch!. 131/6 | ||||||||||
