that's the end of that. Slower length ball on off, he backs away and slaps this to mid-off, where the fielder stops it with his boot. Tringabo Knight Riders have confirmed a place in the top two. Let the party begin.
Trinbago vs Tridents, 28th Match at Port of Spain, Sep 07 2018 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Great to see Dwayne Bravo and his boys give the crowd a goodbye salute. They walk around the ground to elicit a roar from the fans. Nice gesture by the team to thank the home fans. Every game here this season has been a sell out, the noise and atmosphere
unbelievable.
What a way to finish the season in front of their home fans. Trinbago Knight Riders are now on a six-match winning streak, while extending Barbados Trident's losing streak to seven. The chase wasn't a straightforward one, but they seemed in control until Nicholas Pooran was at the crease. But his run-out with Tridents needing 39 off 24 turned the tide wholeheartedly in TKR's favour. Lot of soul-searching to do for them as they look forward to the 2019 season.
Fawad Ahmed is the Man of the Match for his 3 for 28 that didn't allow Tridents to build any momentum in their chase.
top-edge, flies over the keeper's head. One bounce over the ropes.
pulled away, one bounce to long-on. It's all over.
dot ball that leaves Springer having to hit a six off each of the three deliveries to clinch this. Slower length ball on middle and leg to cramp him for room., he looked to walk across and whip behind square, but is hit on the body. Superb from DJ Bravo.
hits the hard length this time. Dug in short, cross-seam delivery, he pulls with all his might but can only mistime it towards deep midwicket.
wields the long handle to good effect. Full toss on middle from around the stumps, he makes room and wallops this way over long-off. They need just three such hits now to win. Can Springer do it for Barbados Tridents?
24 needed off the final over.
backs away and belts this high full toss straight to sweeper cover.
walks into the stroke and flat bats this to wide long-off, hares back for the second.
full, furiously fast and straight. Beaten again as he looks to back away and carve over point.
excellent wide yorker, sees the batsman looking to make room and fires it wide to beat the underedge.
off a thick inside edge to long-on
this is very high. Pierre is underneath it, and he holds on. Ali Khan has a big wicket, potentially a match-winning moment in the match. Holder got this high on the bat, no timing or power as a result. Pierre came in, kept his eyes right through and made it look simple.
28 off 12. Here's Ali Khan.
just short of deep midwicket, Bravo is livid. He wanted the fielder there to charge in.
backs away and forces this off the backfoot to deep cover
Fawad Ahmed has made a right royal mess of a simple fielding opportunity at fine leg. This is a full toss that has been whipped to fine leg, should have just been a single but he didn't bend down enough.
the man from long-on can't get to the ball. This was mistimed, but he's lucky to get away.
flicks this low full toss from around the stumps to deep midwicket
slower length ball, he makes room and punches to sweeper cover.
looks to pull, but this is too far down leg.
direct hit at the bowler's end from mid-off. Is he in trouble? Direct hit from Bravo, I think he's gone. Oh, yes. He is, all over. Bye bye. Poor running, the bat wasn't down either and he was plonking it. Not even a full stretch helped him. The game turns, TKR fans back to life. Their aspriations of a win takes another hit, it's the danger man Pooran who has to walk back.
