7.4 to N Dickwella, slower ball gone wrong. And Dickwella gets out to it somehow. Which is not uncharacteristic for him. Think Kumara was going for a slower yorker, but gets the length way long and bowls a thigh-high loopy full toss instead. Dickwella could have hit this almost anywhere, but tries to bash it over midwicket. mis-hits it, and gives a straightforward catch to the midwicket fielder - the only one in the circle on that side of the field.. 97/1 13.4 to YSD Seneveratne, too quick for Sacha! Lahiru Kumara goes full and fast, and for some reason, Sacha charges the fastest opposition bowler. He tries to lift him over mid Kumara I think, but only manages to send an outside edge to the keeper. That was quick - it was still on its way up when it was caught.. 143/4 15.4 to Najibullah Zadran, slower one, and Kumara gets Najib to hole out. This is a length ball angled way across Najibullah, who tries to thump it high over deep point. But he only gets a top edge to it, and the deep point fielder runs in - almost overruns it - and manages to cling on. 158/6

9.3 to PD Salt, that's waaay in the air! And Al-Amin gets under it. Salt is gone, and that's massive for Warriors. Slower one outside off stump. Salt is down the track trying to mow it over leg again, but the ball kicks off the surface a little, takes a top edge, and it goes hiiiigh into the air. Al Amin tracks it nicely and completes the catch though. What an innings by Salt. Dambulla have motored along at more than 11 an over, largely thanks to him.. 114/2 17.4 to MNK Fernando, this is turning into a very good over. Nuwanidu Fernando never quite got his timing right in this innings. This was a length ball outside off, and Fernando tries to launch that over long on, but doesn't even get close to clearing that boundary. The fielder is at least eight metres in from the rope as he completes the catch.. 166/7

10.3 to Sohaib Maqsood, tossed up again. Gets some reward for his bravery this time, does Colombage. He beats Maqsood in the flight this time. The batter tried to clear the straight boundary, but is through the shot early as the ball dips a bit on him. His mis-hit only carries three-quarters of the way to the boundary. Long on comes in and settles under this.. 120/3

14.5 to MD Shanaka, caught off the leading edge! Shanaka is too early through the shot here I think. It's length on the stumps, and Shanaka is trying clip this through leg, but the ball takes the leading edge and floats out to backward point where the fielder completes the catch over his head.. 152/5 |

1.6 to K Lewis, he goes for this as well, but this time, Pradeep has outsmarted Lewis. It's length outside off, just like the one that got slammed for six. But this time, Pradeep has slowed up the pace, and Lewis is through the shot early. Still almost middles it somehow, so this goes hiiiiigh up in the air. Sacha de Alwis settles under it at midwicket and holds a testing chance.. 23/1 12.5 to DAS Gunaratne, superb from Pradeep. Slower one, a yorker. Asela Gunaratne gives himself room to try and crash this through off, but he's beaten by the lack of pace, and the ball skids into the off stump. Warriors crashing and burning here.. 88/6 16.1 to R Powell, And Pradeep ends Powell's resistance. This is a slower short ball from Pradeep, and Powell tries to bash this over the legside, but mis-hits it badly, because he hasn't accounted for the slowness. The catch floats out to mid off. The end of Warriors' resistance, you'd think.. 128/7

2.4 to DC Thomas, had no idea about that one! Didn't pick the googly at all. He's floated that up outside off stump, Thomas - unsure - stays home and doesn't commit forward or back. It turns back in, whizzes between bat and pad, and rattles the stumps. Tahir is off on his big celebration. How many times will we see that in this tournament?. 28/2

3.1 to KIC Asalanka, incredible catch by Chamika Karunaratne. Charith Asalanka perishes to spin inside the powerplay. That's a flattish offbreak outside off stump, which Asalanka tries to lift over the covers. Doesn't hit it properly, though, and gets it closer to long off, where Karunaratne sprints hard, dives, and holds a tough chance inches from the grass! Giants all over Warriors here. 28/3 9.2 to PHKD Mendis, Has Dickwella got Kamindu here? The batter was off balance and ends up on his backside, so it's very possible he's out. This was a beautifully slowed-up big-spinning offbreak, pitching outside off stump, turning sharply away. Kamindu is forward trying to flay this through cover, but Ramesh has drawn him too far forward, and when the ball turns away and the batter misses, his back leg has come outside the crease. Dickwellla completes the stumping. Wonderful from Ramesh and Dickwella there.. 70/4 9.4 to AK Perera, huuuuge turn, and Ramesh Mendis' outstanding run continues. This is slow outside off, but not tossed up because Angelo Perera is down the track and Mendis sees him coming and pulls the length back. It's spun hard though, and it turns past Perera's pads and Dickwella collects nicely and stumps him. Superb work.. 71/5

19.1 to HIA Jayaratne, dear sweet lord that's a catch! This is a short, slower delivery, mis-hit towards deep midwicket and Nuwanidu Fernando pulls off what is going to be tough to beat as the catch of the LPL. Sprints full-tilt towards the ball, throws himself in the air as if he's been shot out of a cannon, intercepts the ball inches from the ground, fully in the air, and holds on to hit as he hits the ground. Outstanding.. 159/8
