One of Barbados' most celebrated schools welcomed back three of its sons in a special way yesterday.
A packed hall at Harrison College was on hand during morning assembly when cricketers Ian Bradshaw, Adrian Griffith and Mark Alleyne were presented with mementos.
And when Barbados take on England 'A' in a Busta match at Kensington Oval starting today, Bradshaw and Alleyne will be rival captains.
It is a rare instance of the regional first-class match featuring captains who attended the same secondary school.
During yesterday's tribute, there were also brief addresses from headmaster Dr. Robert Belgrave and Barbados Cricket Association honorary secretary Philip Nicholls.
'It was a very sentimental moment,' Alleyne said.
Bradshaw added that it was the first time he had ever graced the stage at the school he attended for seven years.
