Mark Waugh will face cricket anti-corruption officials this Saturday in Melbourne to discuss allegations made against him in an Indian police report, the Australian Cricket Board has announced.
Waugh is to be interviewed by the ACB's special investigator, Greg Melick, and representatives of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) anti-corruption unit over claims he had taken $US20,000 ($A36,000) from illegal bookmaker Mukesh Gupta.
Interviews with Waugh - initially scheduled to start early this week - were cast in doubt after Waugh's lawyers announced he had presently declined to speak with investigators.
Waugh later agreed to the meetings, but his legal representatives asked that the interviews take place later in the week to avoid interfering with his preparations for the Carlton Series finals.
