West Indies put up some resistance but the inevitable happened in the second Test as South Africa clinched a comfortable victory to square the three-match series at 1-1. With momentum and home advantage, the home side have to be fancied to wrap up the series win by winning the final Test, which begins on Thursday.
South Africa still didn't hit the heights in the second Test but they were good enough in the end to seal the win they needed to level the series.
West Indies let themselves down in the first innings and will need to bounce back strongly if they are to avoid another away series defeat. Lose in Kingsmead, Durban and their excellent win in the first Test will be forgotten,
Bet365 make South Africa 2/5 (1.40) to win the final Test, while West Indies are 8/1 and the draw is on offer at 13/5.
Herschelle Gibbs, dropped for the second Test, is set to return to the side as his replacement, Neil McKenzie, is injured. That should improve the South Africa line-up, even if Gibbs has not been in great form of late.
South Africa have won five and lost just two of their past 10 Tests at Kingsmead, and it's tough to see them losing a third. West Indies, of course, don't need to win to secure a drawn series, which would be a step forward, so bet365's 13/5 may prove quite popular.
