Traicos leaves Zimbabwe

Media release from the ZCU:

The Zimbabwe Cricket Union regrets to advise that Mr John Traicos has decided to take up employment in Australia. He will be leaving Zimbabwe in February 1998.

He currently holds three positions with the Union. The post of Vice-President in charge of Technical Affairs will remain vacant until the Annual General Meeting in July 1998.

Mr Andrew Pycroft will take over the post of Convenor of Selectors for the remainder of this season and will also fill John's position as a member of the International Cricket Council's Management Committee for Playing Affairs.

We would like to acknowledge the incalculable contribution John has made to Zimbabwe cricket over many years and we wish him and his family good fortune in their new home.
