6.4 to L Wolvaardt, scooped leg side... and King plunges forward to cling on! Brilliant take, clearly got her fingers under the ball at short midwicket. Wolvaardt doesn't hang around. The SA captain had looked in scintillating touch but couldn't get her timing as the ball stopped in the pitch. 32/1 | ||||||||||

9.2 to T Brits, stays low, Brits swings across the line and is struck in front... given! But after a chat with her partner, she reviews. She was down almost on one knee as the ball skidded through to hit the back hip. No bat involved, according to UltraEdge. Impact right in front of middle, and it would have crashed into the poles three-quarters of the way up! Brits' struggle is over, Garth with the second for Australia. 11.2 to S Luus, hoicked to the fielder on the edge of the ring! Turn and bounce for King and Luus miscues her attempted slog-sweep, with Sutherland safe as houses backpedaling under the catch at mid-on. Luus looked to assert herself early, but it merely gives King a wicket with her second ball. 43/3 11.6 to M Kapp, slashed to backward point, King has another! Tossed up on a wide line, inviting Kapp to free the arms. She duly does so but can only squirt the ball at a nice, catchable height to Garth behind square. Two in five balls for King, SA four down and reeling. 43/4 15.2 to A Dercksen, knocks over leg stump! King has three in 14 balls! Another SA batter goes early playing an attacking stroke. Full, flighted, teasing delivery and it doesn't turn as much as perhaps Dercksen was expecting. She cleared the pads looking to hit down the ground - but only heard the crash of ash behind her!. 60/5 15.3 to CL Tryon, gone first ball, flicked to midwicket! King is on it like a car bonnet! Fourth wicket for the legspinner and SA are on the floor in Indore. Landed invitingly on leg stump, Tryon went for the tuck off the pads - but sent a flat catch into mitts of Gardner. 60/6 17.3 to S Jafta, knocks her over, King has five! Grip and bounce on the legspinner and Jafta's heave across the line is her undoing! Off stump is out of the ground this time. King has tied SA up in knots, claiming a five-for in the space of 21 balls. 81/7 19.6 to M Klaas, off stump out of the ground! They cannot play her! Another zippy and ripping leg-break, pitching on a length on middle and leg, and then ragging away sharply. Klaas, because of the trajectory, is caught on the crease and then makes the cardinal mistake of trying to play across the line to the leg side. Misses it completely and sees her off stump (and possibly SA's hopes in this game) shattered soon after!. 88/8 23.6 to N de Klerk, oh, what are we on about regarding the batter having the strike?! Alana King joins Perry and Nitschke to bag seven-wicket hauls in women's ODIs for Australia, and takes de Klerk out with a ripper! This is another beautiful, beautiful delivery. Incredible amount of revs and the ball drifts in to pitch somewhere just outside leg. But the side-spin King imparts means the ball gets lots of purchase and then rips away. de Klerk can only poke in hope and hears the death rattle of off stump soon after. de Klerk cannot quite believe what has happened. Those watching cannot quite believe what has transpired. But King has been every bit worth of the praise that will undoubtedly come her way. 7-18 for King, and SA rolled over for 97!. 97/10 | ||||||||||

22.4 to A Khaka, Gardner in on the stump-rattling act, and Australia are one wicket away from bowling SA out! Fizzed through on a fullish length just outside off. Khaka goes searching for it well in front of her body but does not quite reach the pitch of the ball. The ball does not turn as much as Khaka is expecting either and breezes past the outside edge before leaving off stump in tatters. SA nine down!. 95/9 | ||||||||||

2.1 to P Litchfield, edged and taken! Litchfield perishes early! Fullish and angling across the batter outside off. Litchfield is tempted into a loose drive away from the body and gets a thick outside edge. Tryon, stood at slip, bends down low smartly and gobbles up the chance. Subdued celebration from the South Africans, but they have the early wicket that was imperative for them to have any sort of shot at defending this score!. 6/1 | ||||||||||

5.1 to EA Perry, de Klerk flies to her left this time, and snaffles it up! Australia two down! Full and wide outside off. Perry's eyes light up and she goes chasing after it. Slices the drive a touch, though, and that brings de Klerk into play at backward point. She flings out both of her mitts and makes the ball stick. Top, top work in the field, and Australia are two down inside six overs!. 11/2 | ||||||||||

15.6 to BL Mooney, popped straight to short extra cover, and Mooney has to depart! Or does she have a prayer here? Fullish outside off and this seems to just stop a little. Mooney is through her drive early and arrows it uppishly towards Wolvaardt. She stoops down low to her left and seems to take it cleanly. But we will have a check just to be sure. This could be touch-and-go. Fingers seem to be underneath the ball when it makes first contact with the bat. But there is a freeze frame which may suggest the ball may have hit the ground. Third umpire says the catch is clean, and that is perhaps the right decision in the end too. South Africa have their third, not that it may matter much in the grander scheme of things today!. 87/3 | ||||||||||
