President's Cup squad flies out

Jamaica's cricketers leave today at 10 a.m. en route to Dominica to begin preparations for their second round President's Cup match against the Windward Islands between January 22 and 25.

Wavell Hinds, Laurie Williams and Leon Garrick will not travel with the team. They are in the West Indies 'A' team which will face the touring England team at Chedwin Park starting on Thursday. Nehemiah Perry was not considered for the trip because he is injured.

However skipper Courtney Walsh and Franklyn Rose, omitted for the game against England at Jarrett Park, are in the 13 member squad.

The full squad: Gareth Breese, Mario Ventura, Carl Wright, Tony Powell, Brian Murphy, Courtney Walsh (captain), Franklyn Rose, Kirk Powell, Oneil Richards, Ricardo Powell, Robert Samuels, Andre Coley and James Adams.
