29.2 to H Kaur, have they snuck a wicket here? They have! Bit of a soft dismissal for Harman, but she made the mistake of trying to cut a ball that was perhaps a bit too tight on the stumps, This is a left-arm spinner's slider angled across the right hander. Harman is back quickly trying to chop it through off, but she gets a thin outside edge that Sanjeewani pouches in her gloves, and Sri Lanka go up immediately. The umpire agress there was a nick. 145/4 43.2 to RM Ghosh, straight to deep midwicket fielder! Short ball from Sugandika, Ghosh goes for the big heave once again, doesn't generate enough power to clear the fence this time. Ends up hitting it to Madara. Crucial wicket for Sri Lanka. 233/6 49.6 to S Rana, slower through the air, Rana charges down to go big but fails to connect. Keeper is quick to dislodge the bails, another good ball from Sugandika Kumari. 275/9

20.6 to H Deol, caught off the top edge at short fine. Harleen had been batting so well in the last 15 minutes, and Sri Lanka are ecstatic to see the end of her. This was tossed up again, on about middle stump. Gets a little extra bounce off the surface, and picks up that top edge, that Inoka Ranaweera barely has to move to pouch that.. 101/3

35.2 to JI Rodrigues, Athapaththu gets Rodrigues! This was a lovely offbreak, flighted nicely, pitching just outside off and turning in. It's the work on the ball that creates this chance - it dipped slightly eariler than Rodrgues expected, and turned a bit more too. She tries to clip this through midwicket, but msises and is hit low on the front pad. Was that in line with off stump? I'm not sure, but the umpire thinks so. It was defnitely hitting the stumps.. 181/5 46.2 to DB Sharma, Big appeal from Athapaththu and the umpire's finger goes up! Too full from the bowler around off stump, but Deepti attempts yet another sweep. She fails to connect this time and ends up getting hit on the pad. Looked like the impact was outside the off stump. 255/7 46.6 to KS Gautam, Athapaththu strikes again! Fires in a length ball on off stump, Kashvee gets down on her knee and looks to hit this across towards deep midwicket but doesn't get that elevation. It goes straight into the hands of Vishmi. 258/8

12.5 to Pratika Rawal, Inoka gets the breakthrough! This one hurries through. Good change of pace. Floated up on the middle stump, Rawal is little late to react, she goes back to pull this away to leg side but fails to connects. Ends up getting trapped lbw. Big appeal from Inoka and the umpire's finger goes up. 59/2

22.5 to RMVD Gunaratne, Reddy has got the breakthrough. These two just seemed to be hitting a stride, and Vishmi holes out to deep cover, where the substitute fielder (AB Kaur) covers a lot of ground to get under this sliced chance. Had tried to loft this fullish ball over cover, but it came off the outside half of the bat, and hung in the air long enough for the fielder to get under it.. 108/2

32.1 to AMCJK Athapaththu, Athapaththu has been given caught behind! Athapaththu doesn't think she's nicked this to the keeper, but there's no DRS and the umpire's arm is raised, so she has no choice but to walk back to the dressing room shaking her head. This is flatter outside off stump, Chamari tries to chop it away square, and the ball ends up in Ghosh's gloves. India appeal straightaway, and the umpire doesn't seem to have any doubt that that is out. Chamari isn't happy though. Sneh Rana makes a vital breakthrough for India.. 152/4 38.3 to WK Dilhari, Dilhari spoons one to cover just after that break in play. Was that a loss of concentration? She had been going nicely. This is looped up just outside off, and Dilhari tries to crash that over the offside infield. Can only manage to provide the simplest of catches. Rana migh have had her hand trampled, but she's got one over Dilhari. 209/5 40.1 to D Vihanga, just the third ball, and she tries to hit it out of the stadium. She is known for her big-hitting, is Vihanga, but maybe she got a bit ahead of herself here. Tried to crash one over long on, ended up top-edging it high to the long on fielder instead. This was to a flatter ball on off stump from Sneh Rana. 225/6

26.1 to H Madavi, oh no Harshitha! What have you done? She will be kicking herself. Strictly speaking, Rawal has the match-up here against the offspinner, but she's a part-timer, and HS will have wanted to have milk her for all she's worth. Instead, she chips a nicely flighted delivery outside off stump straight to Reddy at cover, who takes a simple catch. She's gutted with that soft dismissal. 121/3

42.4 to NND Silva, Mandhana claims that catch! Brilliant catch. Floated up on off stump, Nilakshi charges down and lofts it towards long off where Mandhana runs towards her left, dives and completes a low catch. Big wicket it is for India!. 238/7 |
