Surprise England call up for Grayson

Paul Grayson has been called up to join the England squad in Kenya. 29-year-old Grayson, the left arm-spinning all-rounder from Essex, has been called in as cover for Ashley Giles, who is still suffering from a calf strain.

The news will disappoint Robert Croft who was on standby for the tour. England team spokesman David Clarke explained: "It was felt that off-spinners are more likely to go for lots of runs on these wickets, so it was decided to go for a left armer."
